The electrical heating upsetting machine is an industrial piece of equipment specifically designed for metal processing. It concept to use resistance heating combined with mechanical pressure to expand thicken and deform metal bars or plates, facilitating subsequent forging or forming processes.

Resistance heating:

To use a small current to control a large current passing through the metal, heat is generated by the resistance of the material itself. Combined with a servo motor to switch between multiple pressures to shaping, a specific section is quickly heated to a soft state.

Mechanical extrusion (Upsetting):

While heating, the machine applies axial pressure to extrude the heated part, causing it to soften and expand laterally. This is called "Upsetting" or "gathering" in metal processing.
